Gul in English means flowers or a blossoming flower. This Banarasi saree has small flowery motifs in gold/silver zari threads, the sender of flowers are different in colour to showcase festivity. The main appeal of this saree is its borders and pallav. Gul in English means flowers or a blossoming flower. The pallav illustrates beautiful Mughal Butas (The flowering plant). The flowering plant emerged as the dominant motif in Mughal art and Craft and still continues to be widely popular across Indian outfits. The pallav's pattern consists of rows of Six butas Chrysanthemum flowers in a multicoloured form.
