Fabric Care
SILK:
Preserve the delicate nature of these silk items with professional dry cleaning only, or a gentle petrol wash. Do not hand wash or machine wash under any circumstances, and never use regular soaps or detergents. As with all silk, be mindful of potential fading from the strong sunlight.
To prevent permanent fold lines and potential fading in our tropical climate, refold them from time to time. Store them in a cool, dry place to ward off discoloration. When ironing, use the gentle touch of steam. Only if absolutely necessary, gently wash the saree by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. Under no circumstances should you twist or wring the fabric. Please understand that washing is done entirely at your own risk, and we offer no guarantees concerning the color, the cloth, or the zari detailing.

STAIN REMOVAL TECHNIQUES:
1. While entrusting your products to professional cleaners is always the safest approach, especially for our region's delicate textiles, here are a few gentle first-aid tips. For protein-based stains like blood, perspiration (a common concern in our climate), or deodorant marks, try carefully dabbing the affected area with a cotton ball moistened with a mild detergent solution, followed by a gentle rinse with cold water.
2. In the event of a nail polish stain, you could try carefully dabbing it with acetone on a soft cloth.
3. For greasy marks or combination stains like spilled food (common with our delicious local cuisine), oil, butter, or oily cosmetics, try applying talcum powder generously to absorb the oil, a helpful first step in our environment. Let it sit, and then gently brush it off. For any remaining stain, a small amount of dry cleaning fluid can be carefully dabbed on, followed by a gentle rinse with cool water, then lukewarm water.
NOTE- Above mentioned tips are only suggestions. We do not take guarantee for color, cloth or zari.
