Rani Baagh: (The Queen's Garden)

This saree undoubtedly is a marvellous masterpiece, a must have in the wardrobe, which one passes across generations because it is definitely a collectors choice. Enchanting like the Full Moon, this saree carries an amalgamation of Patan Patola and a Banarasi Meenakari, both of which requiring the epitome of skilfulness. Months of intricate karigiri has been done by our master weavers, for weaving this saree of dreams. The pallav illustrates beautiful Mughal Butas (The flowering plant). The flowering plant emerged as the dominant motif in Mughal art and Craft. The application of different hues has subtly been accomplished, making the saree look as if it was a Garden of the Queen.

Patola Sarees

The great fame of the ikat tradition of Gujarat owes much to the patola textiles now associated exclusively with Patan. Prized for the complexity of their double-ikat process and the unique, kaleidoscopic quality of their patterns, these silk textiles were used in western India for important ritual and ceremonial occasions by wealthy communities. The initial commissions established beyond doubt, the availability of the highest level of skill in the double-ikat technique of Patan.

Please Note-

The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
